Before revealing this secret to you, first I want to introduce myself.
Nice to meet you!My name is Bárbara Carvalho.
I have a degree in Business Administration, I specialize in business development and structuring companies, I have taken many courses throughout my career, and one of my favorite hobbies — which may sound unusual — is studying the science of making money. Yes, studying money. Studying business, human behavior, strategies, and everything that helps companies grow. And if you are here, it is probably because you are looking for the same thing I am: growth, freedom, and building something meaningful. So I want to invite you to discover this together with me.
Why do 90% of people quit creating content?
Many people believe that creators give up because they:
lack talent
lack creativity
do not feel comfortable speaking in front of the camera
But the truth is much simpler.
Most people quit because they ignore one of the most important pillars of administration: organization.
Creating content is not simply opening your phone camera and starting to record.
Behind a single video there is an entire process.
To record this content, for example, I spent approximately eight hours on the full process:
studying the topic
writing the script
recording
editing
adjusting lighting
adding subtitles
publishing
In other words, content creation is a strategic process, not just a moment of inspiration.
The two types of content every creator must understand
There are many types of content, but two of them are fundamental for anyone who is starting.
1️⃣ Planned content
This is strategic content.
It is when you sit down at your computer, study the topic, write a script, and define the goal of that video. For example:
If your strategy is growing followers on Instagram, you create a sequence of videos designed specifically to achieve that objective.
In other words, the video is not random It is part of a bigger strategy.
2️⃣ Spontaneous content
This type of content comes from an insight. For example:
You go out for a run, have a motivational idea during your workout, and decide to share that idea on Instagram.
That is also valid.
But this type of content cannot be the only type of content in your strategy.
And here is a mistake that I personally made many times:
Creating content only when I felt motivated.
The truth about content creation
Content creation cannot depend on motivation.
Content creation needs to become a routine.
Just like:
taking a shower
brushing your teeth
exercising
You need to treat content creation as a serious commitment to your business.
I like to make a simple comparison:
Creating content is like following a diet for your Instagram.
If you do not follow the discipline every day, the results simply will not appear.
And when the content does not happen, you are often delaying:
your financial freedom
your professional growth
your authority in the market
How to start creating content strategically
Now let’s move to the practical part.
Step 1 — Study what already works
Many marketing experts say something very important:
Copy what already works.
But wait.
This does not mean copying literally.
It means observing what has already been validated in the market.
Analyze:
creators in your niche
influencers you admire
content that goes viral
Study the patterns.
Then adapt everything to your own style and communication.
Step 2 — Study your competitors
Open Instagram.
Analyze profiles in your niche.
Observe:
which videos have more views
which formats perform better
which topics generate more engagement
Today you can even use artificial intelligence tools to help you with this analysis.
Step 3 — Create a content calendar
Here is the point that changes everything: organization.
I will show you how my content production routine works.
Example of a weekly structure:
MondayResearch and definition of the video topic.
TuesdayScript writing.
WednesdayRecording the content.
Thursday and FridayVideo editing.
WeekendPublishing and analyzing the results.
This routine can vary from person to person.
But the main point is: you need a system.
The hardest part of content creation
I will be very honest with you.
For me, the most difficult part has always been editing.
Even when using artificial intelligence, you still need to understand at least the basics of video editing.
Many people sell content creation as something extremely easy.
But in reality, there is a learning curve involved.
And the more you practice, the easier everything becomes.
The key reason why most people quit
Here is the invisible mistake that causes 90% of people to quit:
The lack of organization in content creation.
Without routine, planning, and consistency, anyone eventually gives up.
But when you transform content creation into a structured process, everything changes.
Conclusion
If I had to summarize everything in a single sentence, it would be this:
90% of people quit creating content not because they lack talent, but because they lack organization and consistency.
Now you already have a simple structure to begin.
And in the next content, I will teach you something extremely important:
How to create video scripts that capture people’s attention from beginning to end.
